The Megical Mamle

In the Srit Papua area there are two legendary stones. The stone is flat. People say they are sandals from Mamle. It is said that in the past he often wore it when he was teaching kindness to the people there. Mamle is the legendary clever and powerful person.

Once upon a time there were two people from different ethnicities married. The man comes from the Frisya tribe, and the woman comes from the Sandrafe tribe.

They lived happily, and not long after their marriage, a child was born, they named the child Mamle, but then Mamle became an orphan, her father died, therefore she went with her mother.

Then they lived in Bolsase, in the Wen area. His mother farmed there, growing sweet potatoes and vegetables. Mamle has been used to helping her mother since she was little, she is a very diligent child and obeys her mother. One day he was asked to help his mother cut down the only breadfruit tree left in their field. Mamle really enjoyed it. Immediately, he took his stone ax to the top of the tree and cut the tree branches to make it easier for him to cut down the tree. But suddenly the wind blew very hard, Mamle's mother, who was worried to see her child still in the tree, immediately told Mamle to come down. Mamle, who was very obedient to her mother, immediately jumped from the tree to the ground and landed safely.

Seeing the strangeness of his son, he thought that his son was a powerful person, according to his name Mamle, which means powerful. The second strange incident was when Mamle reached the beginning of adulthood. At that time Mamle had finished building her dance house, a Bol Taro. When it was finished, he invited people from various regions.

The two guests who came were attractive women from the Sandrafe tribe. Both of them turned out to be very interested in Mamle and it turned out that Mamle was also interested. The two women turned out to be the daughters of Mamle's own uncle. Their relationship was not approved by the tribal leader Sandrafe, and tensions arose until Mamle was finally chased by other male party guests. They will kill Mamle. Luckily Mamle was able to escape in time.

While running, Mamle saw a palm tree. It occurred to him to outwit his pursuers and help the palm tree. Carrying a small roof he climbed the palm tree. He wanted to tap the palm tree and use the roof as a container. He wanted to make palm wine that he would drink to his pursuers until they were drunk and could no longer chase.

"You can kill me after drinking my palm wine," said Mamle. The pursuers drank the wine until it was finished, then Mamle tapped the bottom of the tube and the wine was filled again, and so on until the pursuers were very drunk. Then Mamle drew a line between them, the ground separated and a deep ravine was formed that separated Mamle and his pursuers.

Mamle also transformed herself into a swallow and came to those who had intended to harm her. He will save those who believe in him, and those who do not believe will be turned to stone. It turns out that the two women who made him fall in love didn't believe him so they became stones. It is said that the stones will cry if they are rubbed and teased.

Strange events always accompany Mamle's life. One day he was invited by someone to attend his aunt's wedding party. Her aunt was going to marry a member of the Sawiat tribe in Meybat.

The journey to the area was difficult and annoying. All this adds to the two tall mountains that stand in the way, Mount Tles and Mount Yilo. Feeling that the mountain was blocking his path, there was only an inch left, so he picked him up and took him to the land of Maybet, where the mountain used to be, there is now a beautiful lake.

Because he felt hungry, he then headed for the field that had just been cleared. To the people who were working on the fields, he asked for food. But instead they sneered at him. Mamle became upset and then went to her aunt's field. This time his aunt gave him food. Still feeling annoyed with people who didn't want to give him food, he took the two mountains Yilo and Tles to their fields and put them there, so the fields that had just been tilled were now covered by Mt. Tles and Mt. Yilo, except for his aunt's farm.

There was one event that made Mamle leave the mountainous area for the valley. Events involving the death of his mother. Due to a serious illness, Mrs. Mamle died. When she was sick, no one came to condole with her. Mamle then alone took her mother to the place where the bodies were kept, khalikat. Three days and three nights he mourned, three days and three nights he was alone with no one to accompany him.

This incident made him very sad and disappointed with his neighbors, and made him intend to leave his village. He then headed for the valley and lived in the khabra region. Mamble works wonders again in this region. he was in the mood to eat, he didn't hunt or cook, it all came to him. He just said to the Serumuk river that he was hungry, then the Serumuk river gave him all the types of fish in it that were ready to eat.

That's a little story about the powerful and clever Mamle. Hopefully you can get the benefits.

That's all...
